#Wanafriday prompt this
week: How did the last book you read change you, or not?

For weeks now, I’ve been up to my ears in testosterone fueled
novels. Best research ever! Anyway, one of the best ones I’ve come across
lately is the novel, Jake Undone by
Penelope Ward. Jake is my new best book boyfriend (and there have been many in
the past month
So why this book? The author keeps the tension ramped up
high throughout the novel. The characters are well drawn and we want them to
work it out, badly, because we crave Jake and want to see him in action. I’ll
leave that to your imagination.

Now go take a peek at what these WANA* authors are coming up with in
answer to this week's prompt:
Ellen Gregory -Book Review: Slow River
Liv Rancourt - How a Dish of Eyeballs Changed My Life.
Tami Clayton - Eleanor & Park
Janice Heck - A View From the Window

Damn. This is the kind of post that ends up costing me money...
;)
I loved SCARRED by Faith Price. I got it for 99 cents on my Kindle. It's a good read with a lot of testosterone all around. He is a perfect hero slightly flawed.
Okay, I haven't been reading up a storm like you have! Hard for me to write and find time to read others' stories - but I just read through a good deal of my manuscript for Blood Stones, and realized I LOVE my hero, Alan. And Alan is inspired by a couple of the heroes in Linda Howard's books. She is great at hero!
I'll try to get Jake on my Kindle before my next trip to Florida. I don't feel guilty doing non-stop reading when I am down there. Looking forward to meeting Jack, too. Good luck with NaNo. (I am doing NaBloPoMo (30 days of posting). It's fun, and I am meeting many new bloggers (to me).
I find myself also wanting to see Jake in action... Hmmm.
After looking at that book cover, I'm with Ellen in wanting to see Jake in action. You've got yourself some interesting research there, Cora. ;)
